Daily Schedule
Note: Dismissal time on Wednesdays will be 3:25 unless there is town meeting (our once-a-month school assembly) taking place; in that case, dismissal will be at 4:10pm.
Typical Course Sequence
- Students are required to take 4 years of Literature and Social Studies by the state.
- Students are only need 3 years of math and science to graduate, but students at ESA take 4 years of math and science to prepare them for college.
- Students only need 1 year of a world language to graduate, but we strongly recommend that students at ESA take at least 2 years, as many colleges now require 2 years of languages.
- Over the course of 9/10th grade, students will take 2 semesters of art, 1 semester of theater, and 1 semester of music.
- Students are required to complete 4.0 credits, or 8 semesters of Physical Education (PE).
- Literature, Social Studies, Math, Science, Language and Elective courses at ESA are 1 credit each. Arts, College Bound, Advisory, and PE courses are 0.5 credits each.
